Rio is an extremely sweet girl who was rescued from a puppy mill in Mississippi (http://animalrescuecorps.org/2016/08/animal-rescue-corps-and-tate-county-sheriffs-department-rescue-nearly-200-animals-from-a-puppy-mill/). She was forced to live in her own urine and feces, stuffed in a box with other dogs. She has had at least one litter of pups. We believe she is around one year old and she weighs 12lbs. Even though she has spent her life in a breeding box, this baby is the happiest little girl. It only takes her a few minutes to warm up to a person. If you show her any attention at all, she will love you to pieces. She LOVES to play with toys... they are new to her and she is just amazed by them! When she isn't playing, she is completely content to curl up on your lap. At night, she sleeps with her foster parents. Rio is a thankful girl... you can tell she appreciates the finer things in life.
