Jenga's Story...
Meet Jenga!

This gorgeous marble tabby is full of personality! She is about 7-8 months old. We are looking for a home that has an existing kitty of a similar age for Jenga to play with!

Some quick facts about Jenga:
- She LOVES to give kisses and be affectionate!
- She LOVES dogs!
- She LOVES to play!
- She LOVES to have a nice big bed or couch to spread out on!
- She LOVES to be where the people are!
- She LOVES tennis balls!

Jenga is a real cool cat who will make your laugh. When she's not kicking her legs out in ultimate comfort she's on top of you giving you kisses and purring away! She's affectionate with everyone she meets! She is a very playful and almost dog-like. She'd do great in a home with cat-friendly dogs as well as a younger cat to wrestle and cuddle with! To add to her quirky charm, Jenga had an ear infection when she was younger that left her with a permanent head tilt so she's always looking a little perplexed.

As awesome as Jenga is she would do best in a home with no or older children. She likes to be held on HER terms and can be a bit dramatic in situations she does not like!

We are seeking indoor only homes for cats.
Jenga's adoption fee is $150 which includes spay/neuter, deworming, basic up-to-date vaccinations, rabies vaccination, and microchip. For an adoption application please email us at connellpetrescue@gmail.com

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jenga, a Kirkland Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Kirkland, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Kirkland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Kirkland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Kirkland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Kirkland paves the way for another one to be saved.
