Franny's Story...
Meet Franny! This spunky red girl is absolutely full of life and energy! She was originally found as a stray and eventually transferred to DHA. In such a stimulating environment, she can't help but get over excited and want to get in on the action of everything going on. She is a blast to play tug with and throw a ball for. She will need some fine tuning when it comes to basic training, but boy does she have sit nailed down (especially when it comes to treats)! Come see what a silly firecracker this girl is today!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Franny, a Wilmington Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Wilmington, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Wilmington.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Wilmington already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Wilmington breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Wilmington paves the way for another one to be saved.
