Joy's Story...
I'm Joy and my name says it all - I was rescued from a high kill shelter with 2 of my babies . Then when they were weaned and placed for adoption, I helped save another little one by nursing it back to health. Had my milk held out, I would still be nursing another litter. I am an awesome cat that loves to mother everyone else! I get along with all ages of cats, and I love to be in charge of what goes on - I sleep in bed with my foster Mom and love to play. I'm very young, only a year old and so full of life - I'm a Joy to be around ! Let me know if I can bring some Joy to your house ! Come meet me at Petco in Hoover

Our adoption fee is $125 for cats and kittens. This amount covers a wellness exam, FeLV test, deworming, flea treatment, FVRCP vaccinations, and her spay

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Joy, a Pelham Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Pelham, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Pelham.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Pelham already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Pelham breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Pelham paves the way for another one to be saved.
