Colt has been overlooked for quite some time. He is a little shy initially and requires slow introductions to new experiences. Colt needs a little extra time to warm up to new faces but comes around quickly to adore you. Colt is VERY sweet and VERY affectionate. We suspect abuse in Colt's past based on his hesitation and wariness of very young children, they overwhelm him. Colt would do great in a home with older children and adults. Colt has many four legged friends at Camp so a multi dog home would suffice, dependent upon a meet and greet. Colt is not a high energy dog. He would be perfectly content just hanging out with you, on the couch, at your feet cooking in the kitchen, or on a casual Sunday drive, but he still needs daily exercise being a young, healthy adult. Most adopters look for a dog that chooses them, but Colt needs someone to choose him. Give Colt the opportunity to let his love shine through for you.
