Ranger's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Ranger's Story...
1 year old, 55 pounds. He is a yellow lab mix. He loves to play and adores other dogs. He constantly has a toy in his mouth and loves to shove it in the other dogs faces to get them to play. He likes for them to chase him around the house or yard.

He is housebroken with a dog door and will transition my well to a home without one, however, I do crate him when I am gone but he is loose at night. He curls up on dog bed or belly up in a blanket to snooze. He has also been found curled inside the occasional laundry basket. Lol. In the morning, Ranger jumps on the bed and plops his head down on my chest to wake me.

Good with dogs, kids and cats, Ranger will make a great addition to any family but he is still a puppy for people with kids have to realize, he will want to play with everything so there will be training on what is his and what is not his if you have kids and toys. (we have run int.o this issue recently with another dog).

All dogs are fully vaccinated, microchipped, spayed/neutered and Heartworm negative unless otherwise noted. We require an adoption application, home visit and adoption fee of $200 ($150 for senior). You also get a two week trial period with all of our dogs. To apply, simply go to

Many of our dogs are in foster homes all over Atlanta, thus an application is required before an appointment can be set to meet a dog.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ranger, a Acworth Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Acworth, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Acworth.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Acworth already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Acworth breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Acworth paves the way for another one to be saved.
