Lindt's Story...
Lindt is a 4 year young handsome black cat. This bright-eyed, black kitty would love to find a quiet home with grown-ups to call his own. He is one leg short of a full cat but he has no trouble keeping up! He loves to play with toys, hunts toes under the covers and even chases his tail. He’s good with other cats and respectful of dogs. Lindt is still learning to trust people and appreciates his space but is very food motivated and will happily snuggle for a treat! He is talkative and has the loudest purr you can imagine. Lindt also sleeps comfortably next to you at night. With time and patience he will surely discover the big, lovable lap cat he is meant to be.

Lindt is currently living in a foster home, if you would like to meet him contact the shelter to learn more!

Lindt is neutered, up to date on vaccinations and microchipped.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lindt, a Salisbury Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Salisbury, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Salisbury.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Salisbury already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Salisbury breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Salisbury paves the way for another one to be saved.
