MYRA's Story...
Myra is a 7 month old Blue Lacey. This girl has lots of energy and loves to play! She’s still a puppy so she needs working on potty training and normal puppy manners. She loves to play with kids and other dogs. She came in with some sores and scares on her face. We don't know if it is from escaping from her previous home or from something else. She will probable have a scar above her eye, but the sore on her nose his healing. This sweetheart is ready for a new forever home that she can grow old in. If you would like to meet her please call 972-382-3647 or email adoptionsmoh@gmail.com.

If the dog has not been fixed yet, they will be kept till they are fixed. This is usually with in a week or less.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Pilot Point already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Pilot Point breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Blue Lacy/Texas Lacy breeders who help with Blue Lacy/Texas Lacy rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Pilot Point paves the way for another one to be saved.
