Burton's Story...
Hi Everyone...I'm Burton and I'm a high energy pup who's never met a stranger and love the other dogs I've met on the Canines for Cardio Walks I've participated in. I'm here because my person couldn't give me the time I need because she was a full time student with a full time job. She said that I regularly interacted with children and the experiences were always positive. I like toys (ropes and stuffed animals are my favorite) car rides and cuddling with my person. I still need a little help with potty training but I'm about 1/2 way to 100% so we can work on that. A routine, scheduled meal times and lots of positive reinforcement when I'm successful should help a lot. And I hope you'll have time to spend sharing daily exercise and play time with me. I still need some help learning good manners so we can be working on manners while we're having fun together. If you'd like to share the next 14 or so years with a lovable guy like me, please come by for a visit soon.
My adoption fee includes my spay/neuter, up to date immunizations, nationally recognized microchip and more.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Burton, a Evansville Beagle/Hound (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle/Hound (Unknown Type) for sale in Evansville, or seeking a Beagle/Hound (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Evansville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Evansville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Evansville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle/Hound (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Beagle/Hound (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Evansville paves the way for another one to be saved.
