Meow! My name is Miranda
|Breed:||Domestic Longhair||Color:||Black & White Or Tuxedo||Age:||Adult|
I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, not good with kids, not good with dogs, and good with cats.
Miranda, a shy, gentle cat, came to the shelter as a kitten in 2004. She is now one of the happy beneficiaries of our TLC program. Each cat in this program is paired with an individual volunteer who spends "quality time" with the cat every week. Being with the same human on a regular basis can help shy cats learn to trust people, and has helped many of our cats find their "forever" homes.
Miranda, while still shy, has slowly become accustomed to Barb, her human volunteer, who visits, talks to her, and gives her treats. And Miranda just loves treats! Lately Miranda has begun to let Barb pet her while she is eating, another small step in the process of Miranda's socialization. With an experienced, attentive and patient owner, Miranda might bloom into a lovely lap cat.
