Our rescue will be at the Palo Alto Pet Food Express Saturday, October 22nd from 1-4pm and Sunday, October 23rd from 12-3pm. All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, shots current (DHPP, Bordetella and Rabies where applicable), dewormed, flea and tick treated and microchipped.
* If you are interested in a dog, please first read the biography on the dog (keep scrolling down for the bio!) and then go to our website, www.dpsrescue.com for an application. * We do not have a facility. All dogs live in foster homes. Arrangements to meet dogs occur after an approved application has been accepted. * We do not ship our dogs for any reason. * Our adoption fee is $400 for each dog/puppy. * If it is on a weekend of our adoptions, follow us on @DPSRescue on Twitter to get real time updates on our adoptions. We will also post at the end of the evening the names of those dogs who have been adopted: www.facebook.com/DPSRescue
This kitten will be at Palo Alto Pet Food Express on Saturday, October 22nd from 1-4pm and Sunday, October 23rd from 12-3pm or until adopted. However, we do meet with those who submit an application and are approved just prior to the event (by invitation only) and they are given the first opportunity to adopt. If you are interested in one of our kittens, we recommend filling out an application prior to the event to be considered. Applications submitted within 24 hours of the event may not necessarily be reviewed..
This is Brambleberry from the Warrior Kitty Litter. She was born on June 24th, 2016. Her Mom was pregnant at the shelter and a wonderful family saw Momma Tawnypelt and offered to foster her. It's hard to believe this crazy little kitty has not been adopted yet. She's a cute, goofy, string and tail chasing kitten. She lives with cats and with dogs. She lives with 3 big dogs and 1 small dog. She is fearless when it comes to the dogs. She is also an option to go live with children as she's been with kids.
Brambleberry has a short smooth coat and sheds less than some of the longer haired kitties, so makes upkeep much less. She's a total lap kitty. Yes, she loves to chase anything and everything whether it's her feline siblings, the canine foster siblings, strings, toys, whatever. But then when she's done playing she's headed for your lap. This kitten is well socialized and had the best start in life that anyone could possibly ask for because she's been in a fantastic foster home. Her new home will be really grateful because Brambleberry is going to come right in and make herself at home very easily.
Brambleberry is spayed, shots current, FELV/AIDS negative, dewormed, frontline and microchipped. Her adoption fee is: $150
**Not all of our dogs go to each adoption event. We want to make sure if you are interested in a dog that we have the dog at adoptions but that can only happen if you fill out an application ahead of time and are pre-approved. (Generally this must happen prior to the weekend)
**If you are wanting to submit an application within 24 hours of an event, please print off the application and bring with you as well as submitting it. You may still submit it and if time and volunteers permit, we will contact you. Most applications submitted the weekend of adoptions are not responded to until after the adoption weekend.
