Petunia's Story...
Petunia is a gorgeous, gentle, sweet, playful, affectionate and fun, six-year-old, female, green-eyed, plush patch tabby cat looking for a loving guardian.

Petunia purrs and purrs and is very talkative. She loves everyone, people of all ages, as well as other cats; she is not shy at all. She’s beautiful and loves admiring herself in the mirror. She rubs lovingly against your legs.

She loves following her foster mom all over the house and chatting with her as she does her chores. She is not much of a lap kitty, but she is very loving and likes to sleep in the bed with her people.

Petunia is very healthy, spayed, up-to-date on vaccines, micro-chipped and virus-tested. Her adoption fee of $95 benefits the rescued pets of Friends of Chicago Animal Care and Control. To meet and possible adopt Petunia, please contact her foster mom Kathy at kbwilson60612@yahoo.com - she is being fostered in the Beverly neighborhood of Chicago.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Petunia, a Chicago Domestic Mediumhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Mediumhair for sale in Chicago, or seeking a Domestic Mediumhair cat from a breeder in Chicago.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chicago already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chicago breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Mediumhair breeders who help with Domestic Mediumhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chicago paves the way for another one to be saved.
