Hi, I'm Mina! They think that I'm a Schnauzer, at least I really look and sound like one. I do a cute little Yodle when my foster mom gets home so that I can get her attention :) I am about 6 years old and I weigh 13lbs. I was found after being dumped in an Industrial park and I was running down the road super scared and hoping someone would help me. A really nice girl pulled over and got me just in time before I got to the main road and into the traffic. I was in bad shape and had to have surgery for my bladder stones, then I lost a whole bunch of teeth, and I had a bad infection too. Now I have a wonderful smile and I am all healed and healthy. My foster mom says that I am one of the sweetest pups she's ever met and that's why she named me Mina.I am looking for someone who doesn't mind a velcro dog :) I am spayed, up to date with all of my vaccines and I have a micro chip. I am also current on my heart worm and flea preventive. My adoption donation is $350.00. I come with a free vet visit and 30 days of pet insurance. I also come with an adoption kit from Petsmart that includes a free bag of food, and coupons for supplies. Please e-mail email@example.com if you are interested in adopting me. Thank you!
Pick Me! is a pet rescue dedicated to helping pets in need. We feel that the best way to get a pet a new home is to list them on an adoption site and follow a proven, standard process to approve a new home for them. We list dogs that we are currently fostering and dogs that we are not fostering ourselves, through 'courtesy posts' so that they will get the second chance they need through sites like adopt-a-pet to find a wonderful new family. Every dog that we adopt will have it's current vaccines, be spayed or neutered, microchipped, and be on regular flea and heart worm preventive.
Our Adoption Process...
The procedures for an adoption are as follows: 1. Contact the listed email address for an application. 2. Fill in the application completely and return it. 3. The director processes the application, which may take a few days, and will then confer with the foster parent. The foster parent or director will then contact the applicant. 4. Telephone interview - Q & A about the match. 5. Home visit - every household member should be present. 6. Adoption - if everything goes well it can be the day of the visit. This is when the fee would be donated and all of the paperwork would be signed.
