Welcome Jordan. She was found as a group of dogs wandering the streets in Lylte, Texas. She was found with 2 puppies and a pregnant momma. She has medium length pretty red hair and a few speckles on her feet. We think her breed is a Terrier/Australian Red Heeler/Beagle mix. She has a very kind temperament. She has a spunky lively side and she loves affection. She will come running to jump in your arms when you kneel down. She is a medium sized dog and does great with every dog we have put her with. She in a moderate shedder but not overly shedding. She is good on a leash and in a crate. She is up on all her shots, spayed, microchipped and ready for her forever home. She is young about 1.5 years old but it does look like she may have had a couple of litters. This girl is a gem and is currently in a rural facility that is not no kill. She will be overlooked here with our shelter being overcrowded and dogs being overpopulated. She deserves a home of her own and a family to join so we will be using the help of Rescue Road Trips to deliver her once we find her home. She can be delivered to PA, VA, CT, MD, NJ, NY or VT. Contact me for an application. This dog will make a wonderful addition for some lucky family.

About Lytle Animal Care & Control VT

About Our Shelter...

We are a small group of volunteers that are trying to help our dogs get forever homes on the East Coast. We have helped 200 dogs find homes in the East. We have virtually become no-kill because of this effort. The City pays for to full-time Animal Control Officers and one Part-time Director. The medical care and spay/neuter fees are all donated or covered by our adoption fees. We will do any specific testing on a dog for the adopter and home they will be traveling to.

Come Meet Our Pets...

Our dogs are in a facility in Texas. We will pull them into foster care when they are adopted.

Our Adoption Process...

We are a small organization and the application process is run by Volunteers. They call references, call your vet and do a criminal background check and an interview. This process can take a couple of days. We will get back in touch as soon as we can to answer all your questions. Our adoption fees are 170 for adult dogs and 200 for puppies. The transport fee is 235 and that is paid directly to the professional transporter.
