Lola-FRONT-DECLAWED's Story...
Hi, my name is LOLA and I am FRONT-DECLAWED. I am a cuddly kitty who LOVES attention. Love when you pet my face or under my chin. My favorite things are playing, napping, snuggling, and looking out the window. Small foam soccer balls are my favorite toy – I play fetch with them! Like many declawed cats, loud noises, strangers, and lots of activity make me nervous. I’m fine with a laidback male cat once I get to know him. I am afraid of dogs and young kids. One quieter kid 12+ may be okay, like a teen girl looking for a best friend. I’m a very loving, affectionate sweetie looking for a calm, quiet home .. like yours??

** LOLA is estimated to be 6. Her adoption fee is $125. Come see her at the Naperville PETSMART (Rt. 59 and 111th)! WALK-IN ADOPTION HOURS at that location are 11-2:00 on SATURDAYS and SUNDAYS -- NO APPOINTMENT NECESSARY.

** For more information or to schedule a weekday appointment, please email purrsnaperville@yahoo.com. (Our phones are currently under maintenance, and will be available again shortly.)

** All PURRS' cats are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, FIV/FeLeuk tested, wormed, and microchipped.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lola-FRONT-DECLAWED, a Hillside Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Hillside, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Hillside.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Hillside already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Hillside breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Hillside paves the way for another one to be saved.
