Our sweet boy from BARC (Houston Pound) who suffered significant and gruesome injuries is on the mend. After the vets had a chance to get him cleaned up and worked on, they discovered that he has a dislocated hip as well and wounds to his side. It looks more like he was dragged by a car or something over gravel/rocks at this point due to the injuries.
Baker is super sweet and gentle! He loves looking out the window and watching people and dogs walking in the neighborhood at his temporary foster's home. He's been wagging his tail a ton -- he's in very good spirits and we can tell how thankful he is to be somewhere safe.
This great boy would make a great additional to any family. He seems to be great with other dogs too. He's about 2-3 years old.
We would love to have a foster (or even better, a forever) home for him while he is on the mend! Go to www.scoutshonor.org and complete an application today!
I am currently heartworm positive (not contagious) but please don't let that keep you from meeting me. Scout's Honor is treating me through the "slow-kill" method of treatment and they would be more than happy to discuss it with you.
