About Jemez Pueblo Animal Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

Jemez Pueblo Animal Rescue is a certified, 501(c)(3) Non-Profit Organization, which was founded by Samuel Adams, who is an eighteen-year-old pursuing his career as a veterinarian. Samuel saw the need of a humane animal organization, to educate community members and care for the pueblo animals. With the support from the Jemez Pueblo Police Department and Jemez Valley Animal Amigos, Jemez Pueblo Animal Rescue oversees the welfare of animals in Jemez Pueblo.

JPAR's goal as an organization is to rescue, rehabiliate, and re-home stray animals.

Donate to Our Rescue Group...

All donations made to Jemez Pueblo Animal Rescue (JPAR) are tax-deductible and you will recieve a receipt. You may send cash or checks to JPAR at P.O Box 71 San Ysidro, NM 87053 or make a credit card donation at

Come Meet Our Pets...

Since JPAR does not have a physical location, animals are not displayed to the public. JPAR's animals are located in foster homes and a meet and greet must be arranged, in order to meet the animal.

Our Adoption Process...

JPAR requires all potiential adopters to fill out an adoption application, for the desired animal. All adoption applications will be considered and reviewed by JPAR's board members. Once an adopter is chosen, a meet and greet is arranged. If the meet and greet is successful, the adopter may take home the animal. The adoption fee depends on the animals breed, age, and sex. The adoption fee covers health checks, sterilization, up-to-date vaccinations, worming, a microchip, and rescue efforts.
