Spiro's Story...
Hi there! Spiro is the name and I’m an 8-year-old pug gent. When you first meet me, I may be a bit nervous, but once I’m settled in, I’m like a big teddy bear! You know, gentle and laid back. I’d LOVE to find a home where someone is home a lot. I really LOVE people and do get nervous if I can’t find you. I am blind and do not hear very well. But I can sense when you are near. I do well with the other dogs and cat in the house. And I enjoy the teenagers as well. I’d really love to find my furever home. If you’re interested in me, Spiro, just fill out an application today at www.dfwpugs.com

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Spiro, a Grapevine Pug dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pug for sale in Grapevine, or seeking a Pug dog from a breeder in Grapevine.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Grapevine already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Grapevine breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pug breeders who help with Pug rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Grapevine paves the way for another one to be saved.
