Cleatus's Story...
Hey y'all, the name's Cleatus! I am a dashing Rhodesian Ridgeback mix guy born in 2015. I currently weigh just under 70 pounds.

I made my way here from Mississippi for a fresh start in life. I have the friendliest face and a nub of a tail that never stops wiggling! I am an active fella who would love to explore this great state with you! I hear the greatest things about these mountains of yours. Can we go on all sorts of walks and hikes together?! I would love to go camping as well! I am a big guy with so much love to give. I show affection to everyone I meet! I seem to get along with other dogs, but would like to meet any potential fur-friends before going home with you. I could use a little help with basic training, but it'll be a fun bonding experience for us. I promise!

Well, what are you waiting for?! Ask to see my handsome mug today! I may just steal your heart.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cleatus, a Denver Rhodesian Ridgeback dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rhodesian Ridgeback for sale in Denver, or seeking a Rhodesian Ridgeback dog from a breeder in Denver.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Denver already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Denver breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rhodesian Ridgeback breeders who help with Rhodesian Ridgeback rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Denver paves the way for another one to be saved.
