HI! My name is Winnie.

I spend my evenings working in my garden. I am excited about the fresh new fall vegetables that have started to produce. I am most excited when it is time to pull the carrots! They are my FAVORITE!

My doggy friends and I like to get together for tapas on the weekends, and weekdays, I watch old reruns of Murder She Wrote. That Jessica. I don't EVER want to be in the same town as her!

I have started to dabble in poetry, but I find I have been stuck on the topics of squeaky toys and cow knuckles, and am thinking a change of scenery could really broaden my musings.

I am really attached to my birth city of Houston, TX, so we need to stay local. I will also need another dog friend in the home - a confident and playful buddy. My foster mom said she will tell you more.

Want to get together and see how my garden grows?

About the Love, Molly Fund

About Our Rescue Group...

The Love, Molly Fund is a non-profit created in memory of Molly, my little sister, who died unexpectedly from meningitis in 1998, one week after she graduated high school. Molly was a lover of all things great and small- so in her honor, The Love, Molly fund was formed.
Our mission is to “help those who are helping others” by fundraising and helping with local animal rescue efforts in Houston, TX. We work to educate our citizens on the importance of spay/neutering and vaccinating their pets to help reduce the number of stray, abandoned and homeless animals. And through foster based rescue, we work to help those who cannot help themselves.

Our Adoption Process...

In order to adopt from the Love, Molly Fund, first you must fall in love - like, total head over heels in love!
Then, we schedule a home visit to check for escape routes, fenced yards, poisonous plants, etc. Next, we bring the dog or cat in to see how they do with other pets in the home and/or children. If all goes well, we do a 7 day trial sleep-over to make sure the pet is the perfect fit and that everyone is happy.
Lastly, adoption contract!
