Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Mason the schnauzer mix is approx 1 year old and 14 lbs as of Oct 2016. He was found as a stray wandering in a park next to a high kill shelter, so probably dumped there as the shelter was closed. He is fairly timid and shy when he first meets you, but he has learned to love people and is doing really well in his foster home. He has warmed up really well and now seeks out snuggles and affection. He gets along great with the other foster dogs and is always running and playing and just loves toys. He is a bit nervous around large dogs but is ok with smaller or calm dogs. He will need someone with some patience to work with him to gain his confidence. A fenced yard would be ideal for a dog like Mason. He has a wonderful disposition and is as sweet as can be. Once he gets to know you he is the perfect little buddy! He is housebroken and sleeps great on his dog bed. He is currently in a foster home in Norwalk, CT.
The total adoption donation of $475 and includes the required interstate health certificate and transport , spay/neuter, shots including rabies, bordatella, parvo, lepto, distemper and canine influenza, and micro chip with a lifetime pre paid registration. The total amount is payable to Shaggy Dog Rescue which is a 501c3. We also provide a coupon for a free wellness visit to the South Wilton Vet group if convenient for you.
