Pancake's Story...
Everyone loves pancakes and you will love her!

This young mama and her four kittens were put in a box and dumped. Lucky for this girl, she and her babies were found by someone who took them in to live the sweet life! Now Pancake is ready to live in the lap of luxury with you and your family! She loves to be held and pet and she loves belly rubs too! She is an adorable cat who has that wonderful zest for life, loves to explore and is curious about her environment. She loves to play with her toys but she is equally as lazy! So when you’re ready to take a nap and relax, she will be by your side ready to get some z’s with you!!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Pancake, a Houston Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Houston, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Houston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Houston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Houston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Houston paves the way for another one to be saved.
