This brindle beauty is Ruby who was found as a stray, full of milk, but no puppies. Her ears have been cropped by someone who had no idea what they were doing, so she did not come from a good home. One would think that Ruby would be angry and full of mistrust, but quite the contrary! Ruby LOVES adults, kids, other dogs and cats!! Ruby is protective of her family and will intervene if she thinks someone is in danger. Because of this, Ruby should not go to a home where children playing loudly or screaming as that could be misinterpreted as one of them being in danger. She has some kennel anxiety but she is working through that with Good Decisions Dog Training. Ruby is current on her vaccinations, she is heartworm negative and house-trained. She walks well on a leash and knows her basic commands. Ruby is a smart and affectionate dog who just wants a family to love her and keep her safe and healthy. Her estimated DOB is May of 2011 and she weighs about 52 lbs. She would enjoy a home with a fenced yard and a family who will include her in their daily lives.
