My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Stunning Beowulf is quite quite the hero. He managed to get himself pulled off the euthanasia list 15 minutes before he was set to be euthanized by batting his lovely eyes at me on his video.

He has survived the horror of being neutered.

He has survived the horror of being enclosed with the two kittens that we currently have in rescue. In fact, he is doing quite well as the big brother to Sonnet and Limerick.

He is very mellow, very affectionate, and very social. He likes people and he likes cats.

He is maybe 1 to 2 years old and is a stunning green eyed brown tabby Maine coon mix. Anyone would be lucky to have this marvelous boy in their home.

He does like having a young cat companion, and we want him to go to a home where he will either have a young cat or kitten is a playmate or where he goes home with another young cat or kitten as a playmate.

If you are interested in adopting Beowulf, please contact us at merlinshoperagdollrescue@gmail.com for an application. He is now in a foster home in Ennis, Texas.

Adoption Fee: $150

Sorry, we do not ship our cats or provide any transportation. All potential adopters should reside in Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, New Mexico, or Louisiana. We will not adopt outside of those states.

Who We Are: We are a private rescue and privately funded. WE ARE NOT A SHELTER, BUT A RESCUE. A rescue is a PRIVATE HOME and not a public place to visit. Adopters must make appointments prior to visiting foster homes. All of our cats are spayed/neutered, FIV/FELV tested, wormed, de-fleaed, and vaccinated prior to adoption.

Adoption Process: We require all potential adopters to fill out an adoption application prior to setting up an appointment to visit with the cat(s). We conduct veterinary and personal reference checks during the application approval process. If you call or email us, we will provide you with an application via email.
