Perry's Story...
Perry, DSH Neutered Male Orange and white tabby, all vaccines current DOB 4/3/2016.
Perry is an exceptionally sweet boy kitten. He’s been loved all of his life since birth to a rescued colony cat. He is fun and adventuresome. He loves to play and is great with other kittens. He would love it if whoever adopted him adopted another kitten for him to play for. His brother Peter is just as sweet and playful as he is and they would do well together. They look like they will be average sized cats when grown. Perry is sponsored by Partners for Cats and is priceless. He’s residing with Jean in the So. Mountain area. You can speak with her at 828-437-8769 if you are interested in bringing Perry into your home.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Perry, a Morganton Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Morganton, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Morganton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Morganton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Morganton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Morganton paves the way for another one to be saved.
