Hi everyone, I'm Delilah! I am 5 years old and tiny at just 19 pounds. I was used as breeding dogs and lived my entire life kenneled outdoors with no vet care or socialization. I am so excited to be free from that life and with OBG!
So now I have all these wonderful people loving me and taking such good care of me! I love my foster Mom and my foster fur-siblings too. I just finished my heart worm treatment and I am soooo excited to have that past me! I still need my umbilical hernia and inguinal hernia repaired plus I need a dental and a spay - all sponsored by wonderful supporters and OBG! Thank you so much!
I was initially so very scared of everything but with the patience and love of my Foster Mom, I'm so much better and I actually attended a dog adoption event! Yes! Me! I did that!! I will still need a patient and experienced dog owner with a fenced in yard. Also a doggie sibling is a must to help show me the ropes.
I never knew what toys were before but now I am a fan! Just the other day I took them all out of the toy box and piled them up next to my crate. I hope my forever family has lots of plush toys at my for me!
If you are interested in adopting me and live in the Washington DC surrounding area, please send an email to my foster Mom at the link below.
