Blossom's Story...
*Special Needs* Blossom is a 1 year old, spayed female Pit Bull Terrier. Blossom is very playful and very food-motivated; she is learning manners at the Rescue and would do very well in a home with someone who is willing to continue working on her training and who is able to provide lots of exercise. Because Blossom has a history of aggression toward small dogs, she must be adopted into a home with NO SMALL ANIMALS. Meet-and-greets will be conducted at the adopters' home with supervision prior to final adoption. Boise Bully Breed Rescue will provide a training package.

If you want to apply for Blossom, please visit the rescue and fill out an application. All applications will be considered and the adoption coordinator will call the person chosen to adopt the dog after the available date.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Blossom, a Meridian Pit Bull Terrier puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Meridian, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier puppy from a breeder in Meridian.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Meridian already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Meridian breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Meridian paves the way for another one to be saved.
