Meow! My Name is Chandra, and I am such a charming little cat!

When it comes to cute cats, they don't come any cuter than me! I am an adorable mix of Bengal and Calico. I have such a gorgeous coat with stripes and spots in gray, brown and yellow, and the cutest white tummy and paws. I am very tiny -- just 5 pounds! I am just a year old, very healthy, micro-chipped, fully vaccinated and litter trained. My foster owner is having me spayed as well.

My foster owner rescued me from an LA shelter when I was just a kitten. It was an 11th hour rescue, and I am so glad that she found me and saved me from being put to sleep.

We don't know what I went through before I ended up at the shelter, or while I was there, but it has made me a little bit timid until I am comfortable in my surroundings and with my person. I have a little bit of PPTSD (Pussycat Post Traumatic Stress Disorder), but with love and patience, I will learn to feel calm, safe and happy in my new home.

Once I get to know you, I am such a loving and playful little girl. I have the ability to make you smile and feel loved.

My foster owner is moving to New York City, and needs to find me a good home before she goes. She is looking for a cat lover who will cherish me and keep me safe, happy and healthy.

I am in need of a quiet home where I am the only pet, and where there are no children. Other cats in the home make me feel very territorial and nervous, and this has resulted in some accidents. Once I have a home and people of my own, this is unlikely to be a problem.

I will need an owner who can be patient with me and help to reinforce proper litter box habits. I'll probably need 2 litter boxes placed in safe, quiet spaces for me, and you may need to experiment a little with brands of litter to find what I prefer. A pheromone diffuser like Feliway in my litter box areas will probably help, too.

I am such a special little cat, and I really deserve a loving, forever home. Please reach out for me today. I can't wait to leave tiny paw prints on your heart.

Very timid and quiet. Friendly once she comes around and trusts you. Very sweet.

I'm moving to NY for an internship an it's been very difficult for me to find a place to live because they simply don't allow pets. I finally found a place but they don't allow any cats. I'm trying to find friends to watch both my cats, but they are only willing to take one.

I want to find a loving home for Chandra -- I think she's been through a lot (I saved her from an animal shelter and she's always been pretty timid ever since).

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Charming Chandra, a Los Angeles Bengal cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Bengal for sale in Los Angeles, or seeking a Bengal cat from a breeder in Los Angeles.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Los Angeles already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Los Angeles breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Bengal breeders who help with Bengal rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Los Angeles paves the way for another one to be saved.
