"Absolute sweetheart, Lilly Ann" is how her foster mom introduces this darling girl! With her luxuriously super soft coat, eyes the color of Alpine pools, and dainty white toes, her beauty is apparent before you even meet her. But when you do, it's her sweetness that will shine! She "has not a mean bone in her body and has never spat, bitten, scratched, or even hissed"! But she does hide. When you pull her to you " she accepts being loved on and will even purr". To continue her progress she will do best in a home as gentle as she is and one that embraces her need to be patiently wooed and cherished. Do you have the special loving home that lovely Lilly Ann deserves? If so, she's quietly listening for your special voice.

About The Cat House on the Kings - Sanctuary

About Our Shelter...

The Cat House on the Kings is California's largest no-cage, no-kill, lifetime cat sanctuary and adoption center located on 12 acres along the Kings River in Parlier, California, which is in the central San Joaquin Valley, southeast of Fresno.

At The Cat House, our mission is to:
1) provide a no-cage, no-kill sanctuary for feral and abandoned cats and kittens for the State of California, primarily serving the Central Valley;
2) facilitate the adoption of cats (primarily), dogs and other rescued animals into safe, loving, healthy and permanent homes;
3) educate the public on how to become directly involved in improving the quality of animal welfare;
4) offer low cost spay and neuter referrals.

Come Meet Our Pets...

You may visit The Cat House daily, except major holidays, 1-4 pm, by appointment only. We also have an off-site adoption center located inside Petco at 4144 N. Blackstone at Ashlan in Fresno, which is open open daily 10am-5pm and Wednesday 10am-6pm.

Our Adoption Process...

All cats are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, treated for fleas and ear mites, tested for FELV/FIV and microchipped. You must fill out an adoption application and talk directly with one of our adoption coordinators. An adoption contract must be signed at time of adoption.
