Spots's Story...
M16-182 - Spots
Spots is a 9 month old Savannah X young lady, whose shiny black coat reflects spots in the sunlight. She was one of a small litter that became available for adoption after earlier arrangements did not work out. She is spayed, negative for FIV/FELV, current on all her shots, and is very healthy. She has had excellent foster care in a dog and cat friendly, kid-friendly household with lots of activity, and has done very well. She needs to be INSIDE ONLY, and will not do well outside, since her natural curiosity may lead her to wander off. Spots is a large kitty, but sweet and gentle. She is highly intelligent, affectionate, and energetic, and should be in a home where there is plenty to do and perhaps with another mellow cat buddy. She may be shy at first. NOT RECOMMENDED FOR A HOUSEHOLD WITH SMALL CHILDREN, AND ADULTS OR OLDER CHILDREN SHOULD BE CAT-SAVVY, ATTENTIVE AND HAVE TIME TO ENJOY AND APPRECIATE HER. Savannahs are an unusual breed, not generally available in Idaho, so prospective pet parents may want to learn more about her by researching her genetic background.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Spots, a Buhl Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Buhl, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Buhl.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Buhl already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Buhl breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Buhl paves the way for another one to be saved.
