My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Did you hear the one about the spare change? . . . . yeah, it doesn’t make cents to me either. Ruckus is a dog with a wicked sense of humour – and he’s looking for someone who can appreciate his funny jokes.
Ruckus is 11 months old, and is a Border Collie, maybe mixed with something, but he is definitely very much a border collie. He is a sporty dude who can fetch, sit, down, leave it, and comes when called. Ruckus is amazing in his crate – he happily bounds into his house and waits quietly there. Ruck is an outgoing dude who is perfect for an active home. He is fantastic with other dogs of all sizes and temperaments. He would love a friend to keep up with him.
Ruck has a few special quirks, as all dogs do. He likes to run fast and herd things – especially cars. We are working on this now, but it also makes car travel a challenge. That being said, he is getting better when crated in the car with a Kong to distract him from the fast things. Because of this, Ruck would do best with a yard which has a tall fence. We are also working on his house training, but that is going super well.
This smart fella has it all – great looks, fantastic athleticism, and a bright mind to boot! Ruckus is an active, intelligent, playful dog who is a super fast learner! He loves to show off his shake a paw skills and is very food motivated so will learn new tricks quickly. He is a sporty boy who enjoys his exercise. Chasing a tennis ball and daily runs are good, but things like agility, barn hunt, obedience, or nosework would be even better for this dude. That would make him super happy. He has already learned a bunch of new tricks, and is itching to learn some more.
