Chief (the perfect companion!)'s Story...
Chieftain Cuddles, at your service! This gentle old soul was rescued from a high kill shelter, covered in mange and not feeling very well. Kitty Devore took him in and now he is the happy, beautiful man you see today! Chief's main concerns are that he has a human bed to snooze in with his people and a bunch of delicious wet food to fill his piggy belly! Since he has a slightly weakened immune system, a common condition called feline immunodeficiency virus, he should be fed a healthy combination of wet and dry foods. He is around six years old and has plenty of snuggly life to live with his forever family! Chief would make the perfect only kitty since he is so quiet and low maintenance, but would also get along with other low energy kitties who don't mind a few playing sessions every now and again. Fill out an application and come fall in love with the Chief!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Chief (the perfect companion!), a Chino Hills Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Chino Hills, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Chino Hills.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chino Hills already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chino Hills breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chino Hills paves the way for another one to be saved.
