Say hi to Peyton! This sweet gal is a two-three years old lab mix that weighs around 40 lbs. From the first day her foster family brought her into their home, she has been incredibly affectionate and calm, even with two rambunctious puppies tackling her. Since she's been living the "good life" Peyton has discovered her love of dog beds, rugs, stuffed animals, peanut butter and most of all snuggling. Sweet Peyton had a very rough life before coming to DPA, surrendered by owners who no longer wanted to care for her and her two puppies. But that hasn't gotten this special girl down; she is taking advantage of all the love and hugs her foster family gives her and is ready for her new start.
Besides being a huge love bug, it didn't take her foster family long to realize how smart she is! Peyton is house trained, kennel trained, and even knows to "sit" when it's time for dinner or putting on her leash. Her foster family can not say enough about her temperament and personality. They know her perfect furever home is right around the corner! If Peyton sounds like your next best friend, apply to adopt her today!
