Grayson's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, not good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Grayson's Story...
Grayson is a mid age Shih Tzu we rescued off death row at a local kill shelter where he was impounded as a neglect case. Horribly matted, with dry eye issues and a terrible skin infection did he come to us. He is all cleared up now but will need eye drops for the rest of his life twice a day due to dryer eye syndrome.
Grayson is wonderful with other dogs, housebroken and a very sweet boy. However,.... He needs an experienced owner due to the fact that he can be snappy when messed with his feet. He also did bite before which was the reason he got returned to us. After physical evaluation we came to the conclusion that he simply needs a more alpha person and a home with no children.
He loves going for walks and is the best partner in crime on a road trip because he loves riding in the car.

Grayson is a heavy little fella and weighs 18 lbs. He loves toys and snuggle up with you while watching a movie.

Send us an e mail in order to receive an application.
We are only able to meet with pre approved adopters by appointment since our organization is operating on foster homes only!

His adoption fee is $ 350 which includes all his vaccines, heartworm test, neuter and micro chip.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Grayson, a Lawrenceville Shih Tzu dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shih Tzu for sale in Lawrenceville, or seeking a Shih Tzu dog from a breeder in Lawrenceville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Lawrenceville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Lawrenceville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shih Tzu breeders who help with Shih Tzu rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Lawrenceville paves the way for another one to be saved.
