Brody has the typical Lab personality: friendly, silly, playful, loyal, and always ready for an adventure. He is especially crazy about his people and will follow you around, just in case you need some fuzzy sunshine to brighten your day!
Due to his young age and unbridled exuberance, Brody has much to learn. He has started formal obedience classes in foster care and will require continued training in his forever home. He would do best with someone who has the patience and physical strength to handle a large, energetic dog. Furthermore, his home should have a very high (at least 6 feet high) privacy fence to ensure his safety--this strong and inquisitive boy has been known to push under a chain link fence.
Brody gets along beautifully with other dogs. At his foster home, he respects the senior resident dog and enjoys playing with the younger one. He has not been tested with cats, but his prey drive indicates that kitties may not be his idea of pals.
If you lead an active lifestyle and have the right environment for Brody, please contact us to meet this handsome devil! With proper training as well as guidance to channel his energy, Brody will flourish into the best buddy you could dream of. He is being fostered in the Twin Cities metro area, and his adoption fee is $350.
