Boogey a.k.a. “Boo” is a beautiful black cat about a year old. She was found in a hoarding home with a ton of other cats. She came to us extremely sick with an upper respiratory infection. She was nursed back to health and became a very loving girl. Boogey does still show some signs of a leaking eye but it doesn’t affect her at all and requires no medication. The vet believes she just simply has some allergies. She is now hoping for a family that will take care of her. She should be fine with all people, kids, cats, and dogs. The dogs may take a bit for her to warm up to but I think she will do just fine. Boogey loves to be pet and is a sweet girl that is very affectionate. She has already been spayed, has tested negative for FELV and FIV, has a micro-chip, and is current on her vaccinations. If you are interested in adopting Boogey please fill out the application at

ARF (Animal Rescue Friends) is a foster based rescue. We are an IRS approved 501c3 charity. We are run solely by volunteers so every penny goes directly to the animals. We are committed to do what we can to help save the lives of dogs that may be put to sleep. We will not over-extend ourselves and take on more then we have fosters for.

Our Adoption Process...

If interested in adopting; please fill out an Adoption Application located on our website Once approved for the adoption there is an Adoption Contract that will be filled out. Our adoption donation fees depend on the dog (usually between $180 - $250) and we take cash, check and credit. Most importantly is that we want to find the perfect home for our dogs!
