Britta and Frankie were found on Peterson Road near a wooded area. They were so tiny and so scared. A nice lady rescued them and called our shelter! What cuties they are! Britta is black, very tiny, and has the sweetest eyes ever!!!! She weighs 10.4 lbs as of 07/07/16. Britta is medium energy, gets along great with all dogs and people and does not mind sharing her food or toys! We love this little girl! Estimated Date of Birth 05/07/2016

**All of our dogs are located at our parent organization, Wynne Friends of Animals, in Arkansas. We do provide transport to different pickup locations in Vermont, Connecticut, and others. The adoption fee of $450.00 includes the cost of transport, spay/neuter, vaccinations, micro-chip and one month supply of heartworm preventative.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Britta Peterson, a Cranston Australian Shepherd/Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Shepherd/Labrador Retriever for sale in Cranston, or seeking a Australian Shepherd/Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Cranston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Cranston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Cranston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Shepherd/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Australian Shepherd/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Cranston paves the way for another one to be saved.
