PENNY's Story...
Hi I'm PENNY!
I am a happy little princess looking for my forever home. I am 4 years old and full of love and affection that I would like to give my forever people.

I live at a boarding facility right now because the rescue taking care of me doesn't have enough foster homes. The volunteers love to walk and play with me cause I am such a good walker on a leash and I love to cuddle and play ball.

I love other dogs my size (the little ones not so much). I'm looking for a home with another big dog for a friend and people who want me forever.
The vet says I am healthy and that I weigh 44 lbs...so I'm not very big and I am pretty easy going.

I love meeting everyone and going for walks and adventures. I am happy to be by your side and be your best friend.

Love Penny
Xoxo

Why Adoption is a Great Option

PENNY, a Ojai American Staffordshire Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Staffordshire Terrier for sale in Ojai, or seeking a American Staffordshire Terrier dog from a breeder in Ojai.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Ojai already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Ojai breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Staffordshire Terrier breeders who help with American Staffordshire Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Ojai paves the way for another one to be saved.
