Mouse's Info...

I am a special needs pet, up to date with shots, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Mouse's Story...
Are you special——-special  enough for Mouse??  He is a Mighty Mouse!  Having been the lone survivor of a premature litter, found in a drain pipe with no Momma around either.   Bottle fed in the loving arms of Mercy Fund, he has thrived.   He is now funny, playful, full of life…….and a little bit special (needs, that is)
Mouse has a developmental problem.  His penis and prepuce are malformed.  Right now he often dribbles, puddles urine, especially when running and playing.  The vet says it may be life-long,  or he may grow out of it.
Non carpeted floors are easy to spot mop.  Pee pads are easy to put in sleeping areas, especially if crated at night.  Mouse is fully litter trained and we are testing various litters to see what might work best (least ‘sticking’), to keep down bladder infections.   But if you hold him, and he looks up at you,and then he puts a paw up to your face or pats your nose——it ’s not an unsurmountable issue.   Mouse is a bundle of joy.  He is not afraid of my big dogs, or my older cats.
So......, how special are you?

   DOB-5/14/16                            Adoption fee $50

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mouse, a Marion Domestic Mediumhair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Mediumhair for sale in Marion, or seeking a Domestic Mediumhair kitten from a breeder in Marion.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marion already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marion breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Mediumhair breeders who help with Domestic Mediumhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marion paves the way for another one to be saved.
