Mercedes. She is an 11 month old Pit Bull that was surrendered today by her owner-due to a significant change in their home life. Mercedes is 11 months old, house trained, good with children She did not live with cats but has seen them before and was curious--so she may chase them at first. She knows some basic commands and is good on leash. Mercedes is young so she still gets very excited when anything new happens or she meets new people. She is accustomed to sleeping in bed with someone and would be fine in a home with a boy and/or girl of her own.
Mercedes will be available to an approved rescue tomorrow afternoon; OR anyone interested in adoption must meet her and complete an application in order to be considered.

About Morrow County Dog Shelter

About Our Shelter...

We are a county funded shelter. Our operating budget is very limited. We are open to take in strays and owner turn-ins. We only have 29 kennels and our focus is to promote and adopt out the dogs we take in. We try to learn basic information on the dogs, if they know basic commands, are spayed or neutered, good with other dogs, etc. We do have helpful volunteers that will take a dog home to see how they are in a home situation. As with most shelters we do not know everything about each dog. Our fees to adopt are low. We CANNOT guarantee the health of any animal.

Come Meet Our Pets...

We are located on the Morrow County Fairgrounds At
