My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My name is Squirt. a young male, fully vetted kitty, and this is my story. Several months ago, I was in Southern Illinois in a cramped cage with my two bigger brothers. Because I was the smallest, possibly the runt of the litter, they picked on me alot. A member of A Tail of 4 Paws Animal Rescue was on her way home to Illinois from Tennessee when she stopped by the Animal Control facility to check out some dogs. There she saw me and just couldn’t leave me behind, so she brought me home with her. I was about 4-5 weeks old at the time (August 2016). There was a rescue foster mom waiting for me. It was a very long car ride back to Illinois, but I was very happy to finally have the chance to be in an actual home and not a cage. I enjoyed freedoms that I had never experienced before: toys to play with, a warm blanket to sleep on, a window to look out at the birds and the trees. I was even given a foster kitty sister who didn’t pick on me. Although I had to teach her a thing or two about being a kitten, she was okay. We both started to blossom together. I have quite a few feline and a canine friend I am living with-we have so much fun together. My foster mom has socialized me and she says I am such an affectionate and friendly cat with everyone.

I am also vetted, FIV negative, microchipped, litter pan trained. So as you read I am just needing 1 more thing and that is YOU-a forever home.
