Lulu's Story...
Meet Lulu! Lulu is a 2 year old spayed female pit bull mix. She LOVES to play and is extremely toy motivated. In between play sessions she loves to cuddle up for a good nap with her foster mom. She has advanced training through Off Leash K9 Training. Lulu has had some dominance concerns with other female dogs in the past. She has no history with male dogs. Lulu may do best in a single dog household or one that is willing to be patient and work with her and other dogs. With Lulu's enthusiasm, its best that she be in a home with older children (younger maybe with some training) and preferably no cats. She is current on vaccinations, tested negative for heartworms in August 2015, and already has a microchip. She is healthy, happy, and lives life to the fullest. This sweet girl deserves a lifetime full of love and happiness. If you have any questions about Lulu or would like to schedule a time to meet her please contact us here or at rescuesforjojo@yahoo.com. Please share her story to help her find her forever family!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lulu, a Knoxville Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Knoxville, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Knoxville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Knoxville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Knoxville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Knoxville paves the way for another one to be saved.
