I'm looking for a home for Rosie.
5 year old chi cross. About 7 pounds. She wasn't getting along well with the little female chi she lived with. She does not get along with female dogs however, I am fostering now and she is getting along well with my male dogs large and small. The right male dog could work with proper introductions and a crate and rotate routine while left home alone.
She doesn't care much for cats. However If the cat asserts itself she will lay off.
She knows some commands. Come, sit, lay down etc. and is very treat motivated . Pulls some when walked, Seems to be from excitement. Will walk off leash and come when called.
She is used to seeing wildlife , deer, turkeys rabbits however might give chase if she could. She lived around goats and chickens peacefully .
She also really just likes to lay down and watch tv or read with her head on your lap :-)
Does well in the car.
Crate trained at night, scratches when she needs to go out, however if not let out she will "go" in the house. She likes to run and fetch, and fetch and fetch.
I would prefer to see her in a single dog situation, or a male dog might work. She would be better with someone who is home a lot but has the energy to play fetch, and fetch and fetch!!
We would recommend kids ages 10 and older due to her smaller size.

contact me by email at shelly91381@gmail.com for a meet and greet.
Amador county Ca. Would be willing to do a meeting in a neighboring county if someone is really serious.
There is an adoption fee and an application.
