Hi! Thanks for giving me some attention! I'd like you to know that I've already been spayed or neutered. At Animal Friends, dogs and cats also leave fully up-to-date on shots and microchipped. All I need now is to find someone who will love me. Please ask to meet with an adoption counselor, so we can be properly introduced and talk about what kind of pet you're looking for. We can discuss whether you're looking for a lap pet or a social butterfly, an 'only pet' or a furry 'sibling' for kids or other animals. Best of all, by adopting from Animal Friends, you make it possible for them to rescue and care for another pet who truly needs help. So, what are you waiting for? Let's sit down together! *****************************************************

Tux is a large cat with an even larger personality!

Too big to reside in the normal cat condos, this handsome man lives and works in the Low Cost Spay Neuter Office as the Chief Greeter. Most of the day he is content to keep on eye on the staff while reclining on their desks, and he makes sure staff take cat snuggle breaks through out the day. Don''t let his age fool you; this 5 year old still loves to play! At least once a day he will zoom across the office, pouncing on toys while letting out joyful chirps and trills. He loves to chase string toys but also has impressed many with his skills in playing catch.

After being surrendered to the shelter, it was discovered Tux had a slight heart condition. This has been easily managed with daily medication. Tux understands the importance of taking care of your health and begrudgingly accepts the required mediation. Animal Friends is dedicated to Tux''s wellbeing in his new home and will provide his medication at cost to his new owners.

Tux would prefer to be the only cat in the home, though he may get along with some other felines. He does not like dogs and is quick to let them know it! He has proven during his time as Chief Greeter to enjoy attention from men, women, and kids alike.

If you think Tux could be the right addition to your family, stop in to visit him today!
