Hello from Anderson! I am a six year old male Pit Bull/Mastiff Mix who weighs 76.5 pounds. I'm a smart boy who already knows sit and come, and I like treats, so we could have fun teaching me more commands. I like to play with toys in short spurts, then lounge around and sleep most of the day away. I was diagnosed with mild hip dysplasia and spondylosis, so I will likely need to be on medication the rest of my life, but I am not in pain and I don't think it's a big deal. I enjoy short walks around the neighborhood and would be perfect for somebody who doesn't have time to exercise a more rambunctious dog. I have met several dogs at the shelter where I live and I am generally indifferent to them. I do love people(and treats!) but I would do best in a home with no children.
His minimum adoption amount is adopter's choice plus a $10 fee for rabies registration for McLean County Animal Control (McLean County residents).
Anderson has been neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, fecal checked, dewormed, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives.
