Pretzel's Story...
Everyone please help us welcome Pretzel! This playful girl has such a great personality. She loves to romp and roll with other dogs, splash in a pool or play fetch. She has such a puppy face and personality, but the vet believes she is around 3 years old from looking at her teeth. She was pulled from a kill shelter that was euthanizing for space, so we aren't sure about her history. She has the most beautiful blue coat with light brindle undertones and gorgeous eyes! We aren't sure of her breed but we believe she is possibly Weimaraner mixed with possibly Lab.

If you are interested in adding Pretzel to your family, please go to www.hcwdogrescue.com and complete an application.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Pretzel, a Russellville Weimaraner/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Weimaraner/Labrador Retriever for sale in Russellville, or seeking a Weimaraner/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Russellville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Russellville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Russellville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Weimaraner/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Weimaraner/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Russellville paves the way for another one to be saved.
