My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Castro is a senior 13 year old male Pit Bull Terrier who through no fault of his own Castro found himself in need of that special compassionate forever foster parent, someone willing to provide a loving home, care and comfort to this senior dog for the remainder of his life as a loved family member. Someone who is not concerned with the quantity of time he has left, rather the quality of life they can provide for him for that time. Castro will be able to live happily with a good quality of life if given a chance. He will make a wonderful companion because he is mature, calm, loving and ready to share your home and lifestyle.

As a forever foster parent you don’t have to worry about the often higher cost associated with having a senior dog, The Fresca Fund will pay for the appropriate veterinary care for your Old Friend’s remaining life and will provide information on and help with Castro’s senior doggie challenges.

Today, Castro is still the lover boy he always been, he loves to snuggle and give wet kisses. Castro is also an experienced nanny, he loves children, but now, because of his age, he likes the more settled kind. On his younger days, we are told that Castro enjoyed playing with other dogs, now Castro likes quiet calm companionship.
