Facts about Butterfly

  • Color: Tan/Yellow/Fawn
  • Age: Adult
  • Size: Med. 26-60 lbs (12-27 kg)
  • Sex: Female
Butterfly is a pretty fawn 6 month old girl with floppy ears and a docked tail. She’s about 40 pounds and growing quickly as she recovers from mange and is treated for tick borne illnesses. These illnesses are common in south Texas where she came from and all our rescues from there are treated. She’s just about ready for her furever family.

Butterfly is all puppy and fortunately has a 1 year old female foster to burn off energy and learn social skills with. She is sweet and inquisitive and loves to play with any sized dog and people. She does well on leash and once in her crate she settles nicely. She loves to sleep with her humans.

Butterfly is all puppy and ABR reminds adopters that Boxers are puppies for a long time. They require patience, supervision, training, love and more patience. They need to be part of the family activities to be properly socialized, and they need consistent guidelines with gentle reminders. The rewards are immense and the smiles just never end.
