Becky Sue's Story...
Becky Sue is a very sweet 3 year old pit mix. She has had a rough life, so far, but she doesn't let it get her down. She is an absolute sweetheart and just wants to be friends with everyone. She will crawl right into your lap for scratches and belly rubs. She gets along well with other dogs and with all of the people she has met. She just so badly wants someone to love her back. She likes to go on walks and loves to lay out in the yard. She is working on house manners and doing very well so far. She is house trained and working on being in the crate without being too stressed out. Some monster cropped her ears off, so she is not the prettiest girl on the outside, but she has a heart of gold to make up for it! This sweet girl will be available at our adoption event this coming Saturday 10/1 at Petco 2211 S. College Ave from 10am-1pm. If you are interested in this dog, please submit an application through our website aaanimalrescue.org. Please feel free to email with any questions allaboardanimalrescue@gmail.com.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Becky Sue, a Fort Collins Staffordshire Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Staffordshire Bull Terrier for sale in Fort Collins, or seeking a Staffordshire Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Fort Collins.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Fort Collins already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Fort Collins breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Staffordshire Bull Terrier breeders who help with Staffordshire Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Fort Collins paves the way for another one to be saved.
