Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Well, hello there! My name is Pluto, and I'm a handsome gray-tabby-with-white fella who was born in April 2016. Even though I'm your typical fun-loving, playful kitten, I must confess that my favorite thing is snuggling and turning on my purr motor to the highest decibel. I will nap and cuddle with anyone who's willing to hold me. Since I love other cats, if I can't find a human to snuggle with, I'll just curl up with one of my feline foster mates.
Let me tell you the story of my being a special needs kitten. My mom, my siblings, and I contracted a very bad virus called panleukopenia. I fought and survived, but everyone else in my family died. Now I am perfectly healthy except that I suffer as a result of the virus from a condition called Cerebellar Hypoplasia. This makes me wobbly and clumsy, so I fall down a lot. Mind you, this doesn't affect my being able to run and play or use the litter box.
I mostly just need a SAFE home that has only one story and plenty of carpet (as opposed to hard floors) for traction to minimize my falling down. My foster mommy doesn't want me to ever hurt myself! The vet assures her that I have a long, happy life ahead of me: even though this condition is permanent, it should not get worse.
So I'm shopping for a kindhearted and compassionate adopter who wants a little tabby boy who is all snuggle and a huge purr machine; however, this adopter also should be mindful of my home environment needs. There's got to be someone who fits the bill out there! In exchange, I promise to provide that special someone with a lifetime of love and gratitude.
Heck, what's better for you than a lap kitten whose purring sounds like a perking coffeepot? So don't you want to meet me? I guarantee that you'll fall in love with me!
Pluto is updated on shots, neutered, dewormed, microchipped, FIV/ FeLV negative, and ready for his indoor-only home. His adoption fee is $125 for kittens 9 months old and younger, cash or check payable to Buster's Friends. Please click the contact button if you are interested in Pluto, and we can let you know exactly where you can meet him.
